On the night of March 1, 2026, Ukrainian forces launched a series of large-scale strikes on radar stations, ammunition depots, and Russian troop concentrations in temporarily occupied territories, as well as in the border regions of the Russian Federation.

As reported by Hvylya, the attacks were confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to military command, enemy air defense components were successfully attacked in the Donetsk region. Targets included an S-300 radar station near Mangush and an S-300V4 radar near Novokrasnivka. Fighters also struck an ammunition depot near Yalta and targeted a concentration of manpower near Molodyi Shakhtar.

General Staff representatives noted: "As part of the consistent reduction of the Russian aggressor's combat potential, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict damage on important enemy military targets."

Active operations by Ukrainian artillery and drones were also recorded in the Zaporizhzhia region. Defense Forces hit a fuel and lubricants depot near Pryshyb and an occupation repair base near Bahativka. Additionally, areas of Russian army personnel concentration in Dunaivka and Poltavka were attacked.

On the previous day, February 28, Ukrainian forces also targeted drone control points. Objects were destroyed near Rodynske in the Donetsk region and in the Prilesye area of Russia's Belgorod region. In the Zaporizhzhia region, a UAV control point near Uspenivka and enemy infantry near Stepnohirsk came under fire.

The department emphasized the steadfastness of its operations: "The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically strike the forces and means of the Russian aggressor until its armed aggression against Ukraine ceases completely."

The military is currently clarifying the final scale of damage to equipment and the exact personnel losses suffered by the Russian army.
