The status of disputed territories remains a central issue in the negotiation process and must be resolved directly at a meeting of state leaders. Meanwhile, delegations continue to lay the groundwork for future agreements.

As reported by "Hvylya", Novyny.LIVE cites comments made by US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff during the YES Meeting organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

The American diplomat noted that several concepts for resolving territorial issues exist. Previous negotiation rounds focused on "niche" problems, leaving strategic decisions for the heads of state.

"A meeting of presidents would cover security guarantees, but perhaps most importantly, it would cover territory. And so we believe deeply in that, and if that can happen, and I'm hopeful that it will happen, then perhaps we end up with some kind of trilateral agreement," Witkoff noted.

He emphasized that it is too early to discuss the final format of an agreement, but announced a significant development: a new trilateral meeting between representatives of Kyiv, Washington, and Moscow is expected within the next 10 days.

The special envoy paid particular attention to security protocols. Witkoff stressed that no agreements will function unless Ukrainian society feels the reality of peace.

"That's going to require strong security protocols from the US and Europe," he stated.

Beyond the security track, a "Prosperity Agreement" is under discussion. This encompasses the development of industry, the energy sector, and the creation of data centers. The CEO of investment fund BlackRock is involved in the process, predicting that implementing this plan could triple Ukraine's GDP within 10 years.
