Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated on Monday that China values the traditional friendship between Beijing and Tehran and supports Iran in defending its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and national dignity.
Wang, who also serves as a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made these remarks during a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
