President Volodymyr Zelensky outlined key government priorities: protecting energy infrastructure, social support, and renewing the diplomatic corps in his address marking the 1,465th day of the war.

As reported by "Hvylya", the Head of State announced this in his evening video address.

Zelensky held a meeting with government officials, energy experts, and the military. The main topic was plans for restoring and protecting infrastructure facilities, taking into account the experience of the past winter and potential new Russian attacks. The President instructed that these plans be finalized and submitted to the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) for approval.

Social welfare was a key focus. During a meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko, plans to increase payments were confirmed.

"Another annual pension indexation will take place in Ukraine for more than ten million of our people. Pensioners will receive an increase of more than twelve percent. The funds for this are provided, and the indexation must happen right now, in March," the President emphasized.

The Head of State also announced changes on the diplomatic front. He held a meeting with former Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin to discuss strengthening Ukraine's position in Europe and working with countries currently under Russian influence.

In addition, personnel rotations and new appointments are being prepared.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is preparing candidates for the appointment of a special representative for Belarus and the Belarusian community in Europe — a more active policy is needed," Zelensky stated.

The President also thanked Ukrainian businesses, which cover at least half of state and community expenses through tax payments amid the war.
