Rustem Umerov, Head of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, announced the conclusion of another round of negotiations in Geneva. The meetings took place in two formats: a bilateral session with the American delegation and a trilateral one involving Switzerland.
As reported by Hvylya, Umerov announced this in a statement following the visit.
David Arakhamia, head of the "Servant of the People" faction, also participated on the Ukrainian side. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner represented the United States. Following the meetings, the parties held a joint conversation with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"The next round is being prepared. We are working on finalizing security parameters, economic decisions, and agreed positions to serve as the foundation for future agreements. The task is to make the next trilateral meeting involving the US and Russia as substantive as possible," the NSDC Head emphasized.
Special attention was paid to economic issues and long-term support mechanisms. The government's economic team, including Oleksii Sobolev, joined the discussion on the document regarding Ukraine's recovery.
"We agreed that our teams will continue detailed work on the document, particularly regarding future reconstruction and the investment plan," Umerov noted.
He also expressed gratitude to Switzerland for organizing the process and personally to US President Donald Trump for his "active involvement and consistent support."
