The first footage of test launches for the new Ukrainian FP-7 ballistic missile has surfaced online. Denys Shtilierman, co-owner and chief designer at Fire Point, published the video on X, captioning it briefly: "Welcome FP7."

The missile was developed by the Ukrainian private defense company Fire Point, which specializes in producing modern missiles and attack drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to previously released data, the FP-7 is launched from a ground platform and features the following tactical and technical characteristics:

Target engagement range: up to 200 km (other sources suggest 250–300 km);

Maximum flight speed: 1500 m/s;

Circular error probable (accuracy): 14 meters;

Warhead weight: 150 kg.

Reports indicate the missile is derived from the legacy S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile system. The project is being developed as a low-cost analog to the American ATACMS. The new FP-7 ballistic missile is slated to be named "Pelican."

Fire Point also has ambitious plans for the future. Developers have promised to present a more powerful ballistic missile, the FP-9, with a flight range of up to 850 km by the end of this year.
