Russian pro-war bloggers and military correspondents are reporting widespread complaints regarding the shutdown of Starlink terminals across the entire front line. Conversely, some Ukrainian military sources report no issues, stating their terminals are operating normally.
Numerous posts on Telegram channels from both sides of the front confirm these developments.
"A mass disconnection of Starlink terminals is underway. On both sides, actually," wrote a Russian military correspondent on the 'Notes of a Veteran' channel.
"Starlinks have 'gone down' all along the front," confirmed blogger Romanov Light.
The author of the 'UAV Developer' channel noted: "Starlinks have indeed started to crumble. But not all of them. I won't share details to avoid aiding the enemy, but the previously announced 'white lists' are not in play yet."
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian channel 'Dumky Frontovyka' (Thoughts of a Frontliner) reports the opposite: "The [Russians] are complaining that they've lost internet completely. P.S. Everything is working for us."
"There is total chaos among the [Russians]. A significant part of their operations relied on mobile Starlink terminals. Small infiltration groups are now left without communications—Starlink Minis aren't working," the channel added.
Previously, Minister of Defence Mykhailo Fedorov announced that Ukraine, in collaboration with Elon Musk's SpaceX, had found a way to "jam" illegal Russian Starlink connections.
Volunteer Serhii Sternenko commented on the situation: "If this is indeed true, the Ukrainian army will regain the communications advantage, and the enemy will face a series of command and control issues at the tactical level." He noted that Russian forces had even been mounting terminals on tanks for real-time fire correction.
Verification of Starlink terminals began in Ukraine yesterday. All unregistered terminals are slated for disconnection. Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an advisor to the Minister of Defense, urged military personnel to expedite the submission of data regarding personal and volunteer-supplied Starlinks via the "Delta" system.
"We are ready to activate the white lists at any moment, so we are eagerly awaiting your information," he wrote.
