US Senator Lindsey Graham has called for the provision of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine following another massive Russian attack on Kyiv and other cities. The politician argued that current pressure on the Kremlin is failing to produce the desired effect, necessitating more decisive action from Washington.
Writing on X, Graham noted that Donald Trump’s strategy of targeting Putin’s oil revenues is already showing signs of success. He cited the example of India, which has significantly cut purchases of Russian raw materials under the threat of tariffs. However, the senator remains convinced that this is insufficient to halt the "bloodbath," calling for a qualitative shift in military aid.
"I would urge President Trump to start the process of providing Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, which would be a military game changer," Graham stated.
The politician also addressed potential negotiations, warning that any agreement seen as a reward for aggression would trigger a chain of global catastrophes. However, Graham acknowledged a scenario for ending the war in which a "free, strong, and independent Ukraine" might make certain "concessions" for the sake of global stability.
"Time is of the essence," the senator concluded.
