Overnight on March 27, the Ukrainian military launched a large-scale series of strikes against Russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied territories. The targets included vital radar systems, command posts, and Russian warehouses in Crimea, as well as the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially reported the operation, Hvylya writes.
The military noted that one of the most notable targets was the Russian Valdai radar system, which was struck near Hvardiiske in Crimea. Ironically, this system is designed to detect and intercept small drones, yet it ultimately failed to protect itself.
Elsewhere on the peninsula, Ukrainian troops successfully hit a ground station in Yevpatoria used by Russian forces to operate Forpost drones.
Russian occupiers also suffered losses in eastern and southern Ukraine. The Armed Forces struck an enemy command post near Olhynka and an ammunition depot near Manhush in the Donetsk region. Furthermore, defenders destroyed rear logistics warehouses near Rybynske in the Donetsk region and Novoselivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
A separate strike targeted a concentration of Russian troops near the settlement of Dorozhne.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to take systematic measures to reduce the enemy's combat potential," the General Staff emphasized, adding that the exact scale of enemy losses is still being determined.
