Turkish defense manufacturer MKE is introducing its TOLGA short-range air defense system to the global market, specifically designed to combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and low-flying targets. The system offers a layered defense solution, combining various methods for detecting and neutralizing aerial threats.

The core of the TOLGA system features an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar paired with advanced electro-optical sensors. To neutralize targets, the platform utilizes both "soft-kill" electronic warfare capabilities and "hard-kill" kinetic solutions. The system's firepower arsenal includes cannons ranging from 12.7 mm to 35 mm calibers.

Looking ahead, developers plan to integrate laser and microwave weaponry into the complex. These upgrades are expected to significantly expand TOLGA’s capabilities in countering increasingly sophisticated modern aerial threats.
