Iran's armed forces on Wednesday threatened to attack Israeli diplomatic missions across the globe following an ultimatum from the Israeli military regarding Iranian presence in Lebanon.
As reported by Asharq Al-Awsat, military spokesperson Abolfazl Shekarchi stated on television that any potential strike on Iran's mission in Lebanon would trigger a global response. "If Israel commits such a crime, all its embassies will become legitimate targets for us," he emphasized.
The warning follows an earlier statement on Tuesday by Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee, who demanded that representatives of the Iranian regime leave Lebanon immediately. Israel established a 24-hour deadline for their departure, after which they may face targeted strikes.
