Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth has issued a stark statement regarding the progress of military operations against Tehran. According to the Secretary, the U.S. military maintains a crushing advantage, acting decisively and "without a shadow of mercy." Hegseth emphasized that the current state of affairs leaves the adversary with no chance of resistance.
U.S. Command predicts the establishment of total control over Iranian airspace within the next week. Hegseth explicitly noted that Washington is not seeking a "fair fight," preferring instead to deliver strikes against the enemy's already weakened positions. The situation is further exacerbated by the functional paralysis of Iran's national leadership: top officials have been liquidated, while members of the ruling council are reported killed, missing, or hiding in bunkers.
The intensity of the attacks is expected to increase in the near future. The Pentagon plans to deploy unlimited stockpiles of precision-guided munitions, characterizing the current stage of the operation as merely the beginning of a large-scale offensive. At present, the Iranian military is reportedly completely disoriented, with generals and mid-level officers unable to coordinate actions or communicate with their personnel.
Hegseth gave special prominence to the destruction of the Iranian flagship "Soleimani." The Secretary remarked on the vessel's sinking with irony, hinting at a second liquidation of the figure for whom the ship was named.
