Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held an urgent meeting with the country's negotiation team ahead of a new round of trilateral talks. The head of state announced that negotiations are scheduled for the coming days—Wednesday and Thursday.
He announced this on his official channel, Hvylya reports.
Key delegation members attended the meeting, including Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Military Intelligence (GUR) Chief Kyrylo Budanov, UN Permanent Representative Sergiy Kyslytsya, Joint Forces Commander Andriy Hnatov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Oleksandr Bevz. David Arakhamia, head of the Servant of the People faction, will also participate in the negotiations. The President noted that he has already agreed on the framework for the talks and specific tasks for the team.
In addition to the trilateral format, the Ukrainian delegation will hold bilateral meetings with United States representatives. According to Zelensky, Kyiv is ready for real steps to achieve lasting peace.
"We believe the bilateral security guarantee document with the United States is ready, and we count on further substantive work on documents regarding recovery and economic development," the President emphasized.
The head of state paid special attention to de-escalation measures that effectively went into effect last Friday night. He stressed that this helps build trust in the process.
"The war must end," Zelensky concluded, expressing hope for the American side's resolve in ensuring conditions for dialogue.
