Ukraine's President has outlined a potential solution to the global energy crisis and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, suggesting the use of Ukraine's successful experience in securing the Black Sea grain corridor.

According to Hvylya, the head of state made this statement during an interview with NewsNation.

The president noted that no single country can overcome the blockade alone, making joint action essential. He emphasized that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz closely mirrors Russia's attempts to halt Ukrainian food exports, though this time the global energy sector is under threat.

Kyiv has already conveyed its position to the United States and Middle Eastern nations. Ukraine proposes two parallel paths: continuing military action while simultaneously seeking a diplomatic solution to reopen the strait.

If diplomatic efforts fail, the president sees an alternative approach: establishing unilateral control over the maritime route, similar to Ukraine's strategy in the Black Sea. This operation would require military convoys, electronic warfare systems, and interceptors.

"We are ready to help with this. But currently, we are not involved yet," Zelensky explained, adding that international partners have not yet issued an official request for such assistance.
