The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on March 28, 2026, that Ukrainian forces successfully struck the "Promsintez" plant in Russia using domestically produced FP-5 "Flamingo" missiles.
Missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Ground Forces targeted the facility in Chapayevsk, located in Russia's Samara region. The "Promsintez" plant is a key enterprise specializing in the production of explosive components used to equip various munitions, including bombs and missiles.
According to the military statement, the facility produces over 30,000 tons of military-grade explosives annually. The Armed Forces confirmed a direct hit on the objective, which triggered a subsequent explosion within the plant's production zone.
Authorities are currently assessing the full scale of damage inflicted on this strategic asset of the Russian military-industrial complex. The General Staff concluded its report by stating, "To be continued! Glory to Ukraine!".
