Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported a significant deterioration of the situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction of the front. According to him, Russian forces captured three settlements, using dense fog to advance between Ukrainian positions.
Syrskyi wrote about this in his social media post on November 11, 2025.
"The aggressor has increased activity in Zaporizhzhia region. They are using weather conditions - dense fog - to infiltrate between our positions. The situation has significantly deteriorated in the Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole directions, where the enemy, taking advantage of numerical superiority in forces and means, advanced forward during fierce fighting and captured three settlements," the commander-in-chief noted.
At the same time, the Pokrovsk direction remains the most active, where about 40 percent of all fighting occurred today. According to Syrskyi, Russian forces there are consistently suffering significant losses.
Ukrainian units continue search-and-strike operations in the areas of Kupiansk and Siversk, repelling attacks in most directions against a numerically superior enemy.
The most difficult situation has developed in the Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole directions in Zaporizhzhia region. Warriors of the "South" forces grouping are conducting exhausting battles for Rivnopillia and Yablunyvo. The command is taking appropriate support measures.
"Every meter of our land costs russia hundreds of military lives. In the operational zone of the 'South' Forces Grouping alone, over the last three days the occupiers lost about 800 people and more than a hundred units of various military equipment," Syrskyi reported.
The Commander-in-Chief also noted increased effectiveness in the use of domestic long-range strike weapons - "Neptune" missiles, "Flamingo" missiles, and jet drones.
