The Armed Forces of Ukraine have employed American ATACMS tactical missile systems to strike military targets on Russian territory.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully used ATACMS tactical missile systems to deliver precision strikes against military targets on the territory of russia. This is a landmark event that underscores Ukraine's unwavering commitment to its sovereignty," the General Staff statement reads.
The military command noted that despite the constant challenges of Russian offensives, Ukrainians are demonstrating their determination to defend their homeland.
"The use of long-range strike weapons, particularly such as ATACMS, will continue," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.
Earlier, Russian sources reported the activation of Russian air defense systems in Voronezh.
