Ukraine is soon to receive approximately €2.3 billion in funding from the European Union.
The press service of the EU Council reported this, according to Hvylya.
The Council of the European Union has decided to allocate the sixth tranche under the Ukraine Facility mechanism.
"This amount reflects Ukraine's successful completion of eight steps required to obtain the sixth tranche, as well as the fulfillment of one outstanding step from the fourth tranche," the statement said.
The main goal of this financing is to strengthen Ukraine's macroeconomic stability and support the functioning of its state administration.
Payments under the Ukraine Facility program are directly linked to the Ukrainian reform plan. This plan outlines the strategy for the country's recovery, rebuilding, and modernization, alongside a timeline for implementing reforms that align with Ukraine's European integration aspirations.
With the completion of the latest stages, Ukraine has successfully fulfilled 63 of the 68 steps currently required under the Ukraine Facility.
This sixth tranche from the EU follows immediately after the fifth, which was transferred on November 5, 2025.
"Such rapid, consecutive provision of funds reflects Ukraine's speed and commitment to implementing reforms consistent with the country's goals for EU accession," the EU Council stated.
