Ukraine's Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) reported on March 24, 2026, the destruction of a Zircon hypersonic missile launcher in occupied Crimea, releasing exclusive video footage of the operation on its official social media channels.

Overnight on March 24, drone operators from the GUR tracked a convoy of Russian Bastion-M missile launchers moving toward their firing positions in the peninsula.

Precision strikes by the intelligence units destroyed one launcher and two high-value Zircon missiles. A second Bastion system sustained significant damage.

The attack killed or wounded seven Russian occupying troops.

Russian forces primarily use Zircon missiles fired from Bastion complexes to terrorize Ukraine's civilian population, heavily targeting the country's southern and eastern regions.

"Tonight, the aggressor's plans to attack peaceful cities were thwarted," the intelligence agency stated.

The GUR reiterated that every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people will be met with fair retribution, concluding the statement with "Glory to Ukraine!"
