Iran has threatened to launch military strikes on Ukrainian territory following accusations that Kyiv allegedly supplied drones to Israel.

As Hvylya reports, Ebrahim Azige, head of the Iranian parliament's national security committee, issued the threats on the X social media platform.

The Iranian official claims Ukraine is providing direct military support to Israel, arguing that such actions automatically make the country a participant in the Middle East conflict. The politician invoked international law to justify his threats.

"By providing drone support to the Israeli regime, failed Ukraine has effectively become involved in the war and, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, has turned its entire territory into a legitimate target for Iran," Azige stated.

Earlier, it was reported that the US is preparing a "retaliatory strike" in the Strait of Hormuz.
